Not long after my visit with my OBGYN, I started to feel really sick.
We have all noticed that during this time frame of me knowing that I am pregnant, that I haven’t been gaining any weight. But we thought that was normal in the first couple of months for a woman to lose weight before gaining.
I hadn’t been able to keep anything down that whole day after leaving her office so I checked myself into the emergency room.
Not long after being there they hooked me up to IVs for fluids and what they call a banana bag full of vitamins and whatnots.
It seemed like we had tried everything and then they put me on bed rest for a couple of days.
They had the dietician come in and speak with me about certain things that I do eat and what I may feel comfortable with. They also allowed a visitor to stay overnight with me.
Having the other option of different menus did help and the care and service that they provided was great.
Thank you Boone Hospital for taking such good care of me and getting me back on my feet.
